SurvivorsEdit

  • StuG III Ausf.G, U.S. Army Center for Military History Storage Facility, Anniston, Alabama. Originally recovered in Italy. It was formerly at Aberdeen, Maryland, and was recently moved to Anniston, Alabama. It is severly rusted from sitting outdoors for many years. Most of its cream paint has worn away to show the red primer underneath. The front suspension has also collapsed.
  • Finnish StuG III Ausf.G Ps531-16 fahrgestell no.92475, Collings Foundation, Stow, Massachusetts. Previously at the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation, California. Previously a Finnish vehicle, it was built by Alkett in May 1943. Restored in German markings and kept inside.
